The space is gorgeous with tall ceiling and tables spaced apart allowing for more privacy. This was our first time here and decided to ask for recommendations from the staff. For drinks we had the "Pig and The Lady" signature cocktail. It was tart, taste and very well balanced. Highly recommend it. The bread and butter was a great touch with a hot sourdough loaf and creamy butter. The main course was also superb! The Lamb Porterhouse Chop was done perfectly for me as I prefer it to be medium well. The sides were very complimentary and portioned well. Definitely we are going back!

My family and I love coming here. Whether just stopping in with my husband or with the kids we are always welcomed. Johnny always greets us and makes us feel welcome and comfortable. The drinks are always consistent in great flavor and presentation. They have many options all delicious. Every time we pop in we have to have the oysters! We also love the portabella fries and the regular ones too! I always ask for a side of horseradish cream sauce to dip with! PRO tip- add a dab to your oysters too! The crab cakes are so delicious we like to get at least 2! Thank you Johnny and team for your hospitality!

Pretty straightforward steakhouse with the typical menu options. They did have a diverse small plates menu, however for a steakhouse that prides itself on being a butcher shop as well, I was hoping that would be highlighted a little more in the list of options. Service was quick and professional. The server knew his stuff, was attentive, and did a good job of checking in as needed. The ambiance was well curated. Very formal & ritzy feel which was on par with the butcher/steakhouse theme.

Isa is an amazing server! She made the entire experience so pleasant! We were seated at the "chef's table" with a full view of the kitchen! So fun! This is one of the fancier places in Sac to dine. Have a special date night or celebration here. Upscale ambiance. Make your reservation in advance, sometimes it can be super busy, especially on game and event days. We came here for dinner, and some of the foods we enjoyed were: -Sourdough bread - hot and fresh, complimentary with whipped butter -Samosa Cigars - yes these taste authentic! They're in egg roll shape and delicious! -Sweet Fire Cauliflower - chef sent this to us complimentary, so kind! This was a perfectly balanced sweet and spicy dish! -Mushroom soup - creamy perfection! -Thick cut bacon with bbq sauce - excellent as well! -Drunken goat sandwich - I loved the complexity of flavors, only wish it was in smaller bite size presentation or on a charcuterie board (as all the contents belong one one - apple, goat cheese slabs, jam, sauce, etc) -Filet Mignon - done perfectly and comparable to Ruth Chris steakhouse! Do not skip on dessert! -Apple Pithivier - puff pastry with caramel and softened apples was a treat for our taste buds! We will be back!

All the appetizers and sour dough bread was solid! Steak is actually just okay, but I loved the variety of sauces like mushroom and horseradish. My favorite things were the Portobello fries and burnt pork belly. For service, tbh our waiter Mika was a bit rude we could tell he was only "nice to be nice" and when we would ask to confirm some items he would be like "I already told you etc etc" hm not the vibes. My friend was also soft spoken and he would be like "HUH? I can't hear you." Lol not very polite in my opinion.

Came here twice and both times the service was great. Both occasions Sean the manager came by to greet the table. When I came last month our server was Anthony and he was phenomenal. The place was swamped and only two of our party of four had arrived and before we knew it a complementary glass of champagne arrived for the two of us to enjoy until he was available and the remainder of our party arrived. Today's visit our server was Issa and she was beyond accommodating to our party. On our table tonight Appetizers: -Sweet Fire Coutfiower 10:10 fried to perfection and flavorful -Bone Marrow Carne Asada 10/10 flavorful and buttery soft meat Sides: -Roasted Garle Mashed Potatoes - 10/10 run of the meal spuds but great stand alone hit in its own right. -Roasted Broccolini 10/10 roasted well with a great crunch still present -Mac & Cheese 5/10 my brother recommended this one and honestly i wasn't a fan and could have gone without. It was just meh tbh. I'd opt for the romanesco or maybe the mushroom sticks as an additional pairing Entrees: -Colorado Lamb Porterhouse Chops -Spencer - another cut of steak that is escaping my mind. Both my mom and brother enjoyed their steaks and they were cooked as requested. As for my lamb it was over cooked and tough to cut. Issa must have seen the look of dismay on my face and promptly took the plate back to get another one made. I greatly appreciated it as I was just going to bite the bullet and eat the overcooked meat. After a few minutes another server came out with their fried spinach salad for me to munch on as I waited for my replacement meal to arrive. Oh emm gee the salad was so good. It wasn't on my radar but I would definitely come back just for that. Sean arrived at my table about 10 min later with my new plate had me cut the meat to verify it was to my liking and all was well. It was well seasoned and buttery soft. Libations: -Purple Rain -Espresso Martini Both cocktails were a great alcohol to mixer ratio. Complementary Fried Spinach Salad SOOOO GOOD!refreshing and packed with flavor. Overall this place is a great place to add to your DOCO bucket list of restaurants to try. The service is by far one of the best for sure.

I like the food here! The portobello fries are my absolute favorite! They also make a great burger and filet mignon. Both so tender. Calamari, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, and Sweet Fire Cauliflower small plates are all tasty and good. The green Herb Aioli dipping sauce they serve is good. Drinks are really good, too. You see, just lots of good! Service is excellent and is what you would expect for a higher end restaurant. It's best to make reservations if possible. You can easily make reservations via OpenTable. Without reservations, if there's a big event going on at the Golden 1 Center, you most likely can only get first come, first serve bar seating. I know they validate for DOCO parking garage, but I can't remember if its only up to a certain amount of hours.

Kim Keevers is one of the hardest working waitresses I've ever met. I typically, dine at Echo & Rig twice a month, if not more. Her interaction with guest is superb. No matter the size of the table, she keeps a gracious smile and happy upbeat spirit. I can always expect a perfect Fried Spinach Salad, with an add on of calamari. If you are looking for a delicious steak and salad J street Echo & Rig is the place. The Ambiance is always set to perfection. Dime lighting, soft music playing, with lots of upscale guest. Next time you stop in order the Spinach salad and sit in Kim's section you won't be disappointed!

Loved this place! Came for my best friends birthday on a Saturday afternoon and had a fantastic time. Great location, well designed/great decor, good food, super friendly & attentive service. We had a reservation but it was a quiet afternoon so we could've been seated without one. It was brunch so we had bottomless mimosas (ofc), but I also tried: - Portobello Fries - Smoked Salmon Benedict - French Toast - Crab Cakes Everything was delicious. The french toast is basically a dessert, but it was amazing! Loved the texture of the cinnamon crunch on top. The portobello fries were also a stand out. I've never had a vegetable fry that tasted as good as these. Order them! Will definitely be back.
